Bella Vista Country House

& Conference Centre

Bellavista Country House is situated in the Eston region of Kwazulu Natal, half an hours drive from Pietermaritzburg and one hour from Durban. It is situated on a working cane and beef farm and has amazing scenic views of rolling cane fields towards the distant hills and down into Gwahumbe valley. Tala Private Game Reserve is a mere 10 km away.

The house consists of five rooms, all en-suite, a rondavel en-suite and the Ntimbankulu suite consisting of two rooms en-suite, own kitchen, lounge, dining room and fireplace. We can comfortably accommodate sixteen people at any one time.

We can cater for small functions (50 persons) in three different venues - (Intimate) Canecutters Pub/ (more formal) Umsenge Dining Room or (larger) Nguni Conference & Function Centre. The conference centre offers comfortable air conditioned facilities and can cater for groups of up to thirty. The centre is equipped with whiteboard, flip-charts and overhead projector.

The food is excellent and the hostess, Sally, can prepare three course dinners, light lunches, tea eats or a lip-smacking breakfast.

It's many features and activities include a 90,000 litre swimming pool, a tennis court, marked walks, bass-filled dams and mountain bike trails.

Bookings can range from self-catering (Ntimbankulu suite), bed and breakfast to full board.. We offer weekend and mid week specials.
